INSIGHT ON THE CONCEPT OF COLONOSCOPY SIMULATION FROM DR.
HISHAM ABDEL-AAL

On April 17th, Team for had the opportunity to talk to Dr. Hisham Abdel-Aal.
Dr. Hisham Abdel-Aal is an Associate Teaching Professor at Drexel University. He received his Ph.D from the University of North Carolina in December 1998. Dr. Hisham is the author of Engineering Aspects of Bio-Inspired Surfaces and has also written many other forms of educational publications. Dr. Hisham's research interests include Bio-inspired design, bio-mimetics and, metrology of biological surfaces. Dr. Hisham enlightened the members of Team 4 on the necessary concepts needed to develop a successful colonoscopy simulation. In the interview, he mentions Frauds number, velocity, pressure and the relationship between all these engineering concepts. His inspiring remarks motivated the team to work harder and effectively.
